The Nelly Berman School of Music Proudly Presents its Distinguished Musicians Spring Concert Series!

As a part of their 2011-2012 Distinguished Musicians Concert Series, the Nelly Berman School of Music will present its Spring Concert Series to benefit the NBS Classical Music Institute, Inc., a 501(c) nonprofit organization. NBSCMI supports more than 35 talented students on scholarship each year and allows them to expand and develop their musical skills with a better education than they would otherwise be able to afford.

The first concert of the series will take place on May 5th at 7pm in St. Luke United Methodist Church and will feature the Nelly Berman School’s world-renowned faculty. This benefit concert is a Music Salon theme, where a variety of musicians will perform together in an intimate setting. A reception featuring Russian delicacies will follow. All proceeds for the event will benefit the Institute’s Scholarship Fund. Please make sure that you do not miss this wonderful event and this rare opportunity to hear  world-renowned musicians performing outside of large venues.

In June, The Nelly Berman School of Music will present two student concerts. The first of the student events, the advanced student concert on June 2nd at 3pm in St. Luke’s Church, will spotlight Nelly Berman School students who are the recipients of the Institute’s prestigious merit scholarships and the winners of various competitions. The audience will be treated to an unusually high level of performance as prodigies and young virtuosos take the stage. The Nelly Berman School will present its final concert featuring all of the school’s talented students who will present what they have learned on June 16th at 3pm in St. Luke United Methodist Church. These concerts are a wonderful opportunity to see philanthropy in action as young musicians young musicians of all ages and levels will perform to benefit their fellow students.

Tickets are: $20 for Adults, $15 for Children for the Faculty Concert and $15 for Adults, $10 for Children for the Student Concerts.
