Well, traveling is one of my favorite things to talk and do! But the weather is turning me into a pathetic depressed mess. And this morning when I had to go warm up my car before taking my dudes to school and it was FREEZING in there?!?! Yeah. I really was yearning for the heated seats & heated car that I was spoiled with but I digress.
So, my latest AUTOMOBILE ESCAPADE was with the Chevy Traverse. I have to tell you that I was actually a bit disappointed in this car. It had no pickup!! I don't know if it was because I just came off of driving the Tahoe - but the Traverse, I had to put the pedal to the metal to move. I know. I come out of the gate with a negative remark but I just couldn't stop thinking about it the entire time I drove it.
But please know EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING else was awesome about the car! My kids loved it too. You see, originally - the Traverse was what i was thinking I'd buy. But thankfully Chevy let me drive it for some time to see if I like it before buying it. And the exact opposite of the Tahoe! I thought I'd hate the Tahoe and LOVED it!! And I thought the Traverse would be a dream and it wasn't what I expected!

Ok, so maybe the kids with OUT attitudes aren't always possible. But worth a shot, right?
I think that the Chevy Traverse is really a nice family auto. I loved the little things that mattered in there. Like the moving of the rearview mirrors? That is so helpful! The USB port, the sensors that light up in your side mirrors when someone is in your blind spot...all of the little things added up!
Overall, unless I test drive another Traverse only to find out that the pick up was something in that Chevy in particular - my plans have changed and no longer looking to buy a Traverse. But, every single person I've talked to who has had the car LOVES it and has nothing but great things to say about them!
Ok... a month and 1/2 left before I make the big decision.
What kind of car do you drive?
