Take it Off Monday

Awe hell.

Do I really want to start my week off with this?

Well.. yes.

For a couple reasons, I guess.

NO...because it's me thinking and focusing on my fatness.

YES...because it's me being honest with myself!

Either way...the both stink.

Ok.  So, I'm one week in with the Medifast Diet.  I just ate the Oatmeal for breakfast.  It's not bad.  I actually like it.  Some of the other foods though?  Not here to lie.  Not a big fan.  I have to say-the eggs are OUT.  But the good news is that I can substitute them with egg beaters or egg whites.  And a LOT of them at that!  The bars were good, although I'm now officially out of them.

The drinks were ok.  I didn't get to do the frozen drinks much as I didn't have time to throw them in the blender.

My friend Kelly decided to bust on me in her post last week.

I asked her a few weeks ago if I should say how much I weigh.  Cause I'm apalled by the number on the scale.

She proceeded to tell me to grow some huevos and publically be honest with myself.

And well...

I'm chicken.

I want to, and will soon.  But before I completely kill the self esteem that I have left-I want to drop some poundage first.  THEN I'll show you that evil image of the scale.

I will however share you my inches.

Arms:  14  Thighs: 27 Waist: 41 (measured at bellybutton)  Hips:  47

-3 pounds from starting day.

Ok.  Now I can do one of two things.  1) Get all pissy because I didn't lose much weight and go binge or 2) trace my steps and see where I could have done BETTER.

I pick 2, Alex.

PROS:  I am drinking more water than I've drank in forever!!!  I'm making more conscience decisions of what I put in my mouth.

CONS:  I'm not weighing my food.  When I find myself hungry-I pop lunchmeat in my mouth hoping to curb the hunger pains.  I'm still not drinking enough water.

So here is to this week.

GOAL:  4-6 pounds

-- Blogger Brunch on Friday at a YOGURT PLACE in Wayne.  GULP.  That's not on the plan.
