Why I'm getting seriously UGLY!

Ok. So, I do NOT sleep. And it's been driving me completely batty. For many reasons.

1st-my husband has never snored in our entire relationship and within the past year or so he's picked up this habit that makes me want to build a fort in the woods!!!! It's sooo bad. I even went out and bought him this Snooze pillow thingy. Ugh.

So I know that's one reason.

Stress. Is another. Although..what do I REALLY have to stress over?!?!?!?

Life is good. And it sure as heck gotten much better in the past couple months.

But dong it (what my 2 year old says instead of dangit. LOVE it.) I'm not sleeping!!! Grr.

Now I know why I'm also feeling uglier.

Check out this:

OK, so it s no great discovery that people don t look their best when they are tired, but scientists from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden have now carried out research that proves that well-rested individuals are found to be more attractive than their exhausted counterparts.

[The results] suggest that humans are sensitive to sleep related facial cues, with potential implications for social and clinical judgments and behavior, the study s authors wrote.

They photographed 23 well-rested men and women, and then again after subjecting them to a period of sleep deprivation. Then, the photographs were shown to 65 observers who clearly found the tired photographs significantly less attractive.

So not only can lack of sleep damage your health, it can damage your looks. This is bad news for the 1 in 5 Americans who regularly get 6 hours of shut eye each night.

A good night s sleep does not only improve your physiological health, it will also make you look healthier and more attractive, which in turn improves the chance of better treatments in a wide range of social situations, said John Axelsson, associate professor of clinical neuroscience at the institute.
